Seongho Cha's Comment

My name is Jimmy Cha. I am a Korean-American dancer who has been with Shen Yun since 2008. After being fascinated by the art form, I joined Shen Yun as a guest performer while pursuing my graduate degree from NYU. Later, I became a principal dancer and an assistant lighting engineer. I greatly thank Shen Yun for not only making me the artist that I am now, but also helping me become a better person by teaching me how to be humble, endure hardships, and be more understanding of others. Also, without medical treatment advised by the company (ACL repair surgery, PRP injection, stem cell therapy), I would certainly not be dancing, let alone doing acrobatic movements, on stage at 41.
