There’s only one word to describe my reaction to this article: disturbed. Absolutely not because I resonate with any of its content, but because it goes against everything I’ve personally witnessed and experienced in the last six years of my life here at Fei Tian. I am deeply disturbed by the fact that people are twisting words, taking things out of context, and in some cases, quite frankly making things up. I have never witnessed anything even approaching emotional abuse, nor have I ever experienced such abuse. Never. But most of all, I'm disturbed because right now, people are attacking my faith and challenging my spiritual beliefs—belief which I have the right to hold, and which I fully intend to protect.
