Simon Jiang
Simon Jiang was born in Jiangsu, China and came to the US in 2000. He received his Master’s degree from Fei Tian College - Middletown in 2020. He toured with Shen Yun Performing Arts from 2009 to 2015, performing in hundreds of shows worldwide. He has been teaching since 2016, and is currently teaching classical Chinese dance at Northern Academy of the Arts at Middletown. His favorite hobbies include table tennis, making coffee, and singing. He fell in love with Japan after visiting it on vacation and can’t wait to go back.
Sophia Sun
Sophia emigrated to Canada from China with her husband in the late 1990s. Beginning as an executive assistant, Sophia's career expanded and diversified from real estate to neurotherapeutics to television and film. Throughout, she oversaw the most important endeavor of all: her family. Together with her husband, Sophia raised two delightful children who, like their mother, gravitated toward traditional Chinese culture. Today, her children tour with Shen Yun Performing Arts.
Jingru Shang
Jingru Shang grew up in California and began performing with Shen Yun Performing arts in 2008 as a musician. She toured with the company for over 12 years. She holds a Bachelor of Music Performance from Fei Tian College, as well as a Master of Business Administration from West Texas A&M University. Today she is working in accounting and finance, while raising a daughter with her husband Patrick. Her motto is that the most difficult trials in life are also the most precious, as after one triumphs with goodness and perseverance, one emerges as a better person.
